New INFINITI QX 80

All of us at Oakville INFINITI have been pretty excited to see what the brand had in store for the QX80 for 2018. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. While the three-row luxury SUV is one of our best-sellers and a great option for Oakville families who need the space (and want the style), we were thrilled to see it sport a brand new look and an upgraded tech! Here is what you need you need to know about the 2018 INFINITI QX80, and why it might become your favourite SUV too!
The QX80 Sports an Innovative New Exterior (and Updated Tech)
The INFINITI QX80 has a fresh new face for the new year. You'll notice the front has been completely revamped in favour of a more pronounced, upright grille. The front headlights are sleeker; as are the tail lamps and the entire SUV has a more distinguished vibe, front-to-back. We especially love the slender horizontal chrome strip that runs along the top of the license plate -a small aesthetic touch that makes a big difference to the observant eye.
In terms of tech, INFINITI has upgraded their InTouch infotainment system with an eight-inch screen, a more user-friendly menu and configurable menu options that allow for easier customization to drivers' preferences. There are new HDMI and USB ports, and more space for your things up front (5.4 liters to be exact and a larger spot for your larger smartphone).

What You Love Stays the Same
The QX80 is still built on a full-size truck frame with available Hydraulic Body Motion Control. This means you still drive a vehicle that can fit up to eight passengers but it doesn't feel massive when turning corners. Buyers will be happy to know INFINITI kept the same 5.6-litre V8 engine (400 horsepower, 413 lb.-ft. torque) under the hood and it's paired with the same seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive. Finally, INFINITI's flagship SUV continues to offer adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with autonomous braking, blind spot monitoring and lane-departure warning with keep assist.
